11 Tasty Mocktails to Enjoy for Your Next Drink Night

As a non-drinker, I’ve been to my share of parties and social gatherings where I’m the only one who isn’t enjoying a cocktail. Instead of sipping on a lovely glass of pinot grigio, I’m left drinking whatever is available, especially I usually look for mocktails recipes, which usually ends up being club soda. Since I don’t drink, I prefer not to have any alcohol in my drink at all, but it can be tricky to figure out what exactly is “alcohol-free” at many bars and restaurants. Mocktails are a fun way to enjoy drinks with friends without having to worry about the alcohol. Try out these tasty mocktails for a delicious non-alcoholic drink night!

  1. Mango and Pineapple Sparkle

Combine chilled pineapple juice and mango puree in equal parts with ice. Then top up with ginger ale, sparkling water or lemonade — whichever you prefer! Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve in a tall glass.

  1. Almond Cherry Soda

This retro cocktail is as easy to make as it is delicious. Simply combine one part almond syrup with three parts cherry soda (or cherry flavored sparkling water), over ice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve in an old-fashioned glass.

  1. Strawberry Basil Lemonade

A pretty pink drink that’s as tasty as it is refreshing. For a truly festive look, garnish with a basil leaf and strawberry.

  1. Grapefruit + Rosemary Cooler

This non-alcoholic drink tastes so gourmet, you’d never guess it only has three ingredients! If you prefer your beverages sweeter, add a teaspoon of honey to taste.

  1. Pineapple Lime Seltzer

Fruit juices and seltzers are all you need for this thirst-quenching beverage, which is totally customizable depending on your mood. Don’t have pineapple juice? Try mango or orange instead! Whatever fruit you choose, add plenty of ice for that extra chill factor.

  1. Moscow Mule Mocktail

This mocktail tastes just like the classic Moscow mule — only without the vodka! You’ll want to use ginger beer (not ginger ale) in this one for the most authentic flavor. Top with plenty of lime juice and fresh mint for the best taste experience.

  1. Banana Mocha Frappe (or Java Chip Frappe)

If you’re looking for something fruity, try this frappe recipe from Dunkin Donuts! Swap out the whole milk for unsweetened almond milk if you want a vegan option.

  1. Mock Champagne Cocktail

There’s nothing better than popping champagne for a special occasion, but if you’d rather skip the alcohol, this mock champagne cocktail is perfect! Not only does it look like the real thing, but it tastes similar as well. Mixing orange juice, white grape juice and club soda together will give you bubbles without the booze.

  1. Virgin Sangria

If you find yourself in the mood for something fruity with a little spice, virgin sangria is an excellent option! This recipe calls for cranberry juice, limeade concentrate and club soda, so all of your guests can get in on the fun!

  1. Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria

This sparkling apple cider sangria is perfect for a mid-autumn day. It’s refreshing and sweet, and the cinnamon sticks are festive and fun! You can use any sparkling apple juice for this recipe, but this one use Martinelli’s Sparkling Apple Cider. To top it off, you can add some fresh apples in a decorative way like shown in the photo above.

  1. Cranberry Orange Spritzer

This cranberry orange spritzer is perfect for when you’re craving something bubbly and fruity. You can use either orange or lemon juice, or even both! This recipe calls for two oranges and one lemon, but you can adjust this ratio to your liking. If you want it to be tarter, use more lemon. If you prefer something sweeter, you could use extra orange juice.
