In Sheffield’s city centre, a new late-night pub and club has taken over the previous Soyo location.

The former Rockingham Street venue and performance space will return as DUO, a brand-new late bar and club with 500 seats.

Owners of the new bar have announced that the establishment will debut on October 28. Customers can receive a complimentary drink upon entering by going to the bar’s website at this link.

A popular city centre bar since 2009, the location is housed in a former school from the late 1800s that has been restored to offer “two rooms of music, bespoke decor, and luxury seating places.”

Along with “world class sound and light, paired with an extraordinary choice of drinks from all four corners of the globe,” the new venue makes similar claims.

The bar will be open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. On Wednesdays, all double spirits will be $2 for students. Student anthems will be played in two rooms, and there will be free refreshments available.

It will be “shameless glamour at the newest venue in the city” on Fridays and Saturdays. The owners claim that the main room plays “all things urban,” while room two mixes weekend party vibes until four in the morning.

Additionally, they’re keeping drink costs as low as possible because money is currently scarce, with all doubles only costing 3 pounds.

Visit their website here for additional details and to register for your complimentary drink for the opening on October 28.
